Limited-time re-opening...BCB Academy Basketball Training Camp

Limited to the first 30 participants, this Basketball Camp will help your athlete make their school team.

Danny White's Basketball Camp

For the past 7 years, athletes from all over the country have traveled to Tampa so they could train with Coach Danny White because Coach White continues help players make it onto their basketball teams.

Has your athlete been training hard but you've noticed there hasn't been much improvement? Are you worried that your athlete might not make it onto the basketball team this year?

With the help of Danny White this can change, because his training secrets have helped many other athletes in the past improve their skill level in just one week and make it onto their basketball team.

Patrick from Jesuit, did not make it onto the team his first year. However, after completing a summer of training with Danny White, Patrick made it onto the team last year and he is on the team this year. Imagine...if Danny White could do that for Patrick, he can help your athlete make it onto his/her team as well.

Here's what Cindi Gonzalez had to say about bringing her son to Danny White's basketball camp:

"My son has worked with Coach White for a few years attending his special elite basketball camps. I firmly believe it was his coaching that helped my son to be one of only two sixth-graders chosen to make his Middle School basketball team. His coaching and training is like none other. You will absolutely see results and your son's skill level will increase. The respect these kids have for Coach White is also interesting to see. They learn very quickly, he is the real thing. If there is ever an opportunity to get your child training with Coach White, I highly recommend it."
-Cindi Gonzalez

If Coach White's basketball camp helped Cindi's son improve his basketball skill and make it onto the team,  Coach White can help your son or daughter improve their skills and make it onto the team as well.

At Danny White's Basketball Camp all the skills and thrills of basketball are taught through fast-paced drills and skill building exercises. The focus is on developing a young player's ability and confidence by refining his or her dribbling, passing, shooting, resistance training and ball control.

Each participant will receive specific instruction on how to play the game and improve themselves both on and off the court. Our goal is to provide a fun, in-depth basketball experience emphasizing fundamentals to allow our campers to reach their full potential.

All participants will need tennis shoes, towel, basketball, and notebook.  Any questions should be directed to Danny White, BCB Academy's Head Coach.  (dwhite@bcbacademy.com or by phone: 813-469-3733.)

Basketball Parents! How to Get a Free Basketball Player Evaluation.

You probably know that basketball is very competitive.

A parent contacted, let's call her Lori. Lori told me about her 6’1 son who has played basketball for the last 3 years in the post out of necessity. Over the years he development a great low post game vs smaller players.

However he was heading into his senior year without guard skills. This parent was looking to find Basketball Training www.bcbacademy.com  to work on scoring, ball-handling, and separation moves for her son.

I was a little surprised by this conversation, but I just figured that he was the biggest kid on the team.

Lori wanted to hear about our private and group training lessons at Back Court Basketball Academy. She seemed excited and fascinated that we could help her son with his basketball skills.

I told her that we have a revolutionary free evaluation process that provides feedback about a player within minutes of a working. After the evaluation complete I will provide you with specific skill sets that can be improved upon.

"Do you provide youth basketball drills to take home she asked?"

"I sure do provide youth basketball drills to take home. Just imagine your son practicing basketball shooting drills in your driveway on your basketball goal."

Lori sensed that this was a historic opportunity to teach her son how to play basketball.

I asked for all of her contact information to create a player profile. After that we scheduled a free player evaluation for her son.

After working with Lori's for 8 one hour sessions and several BCB basketball camps we clearly noticed a difference in his game. Lori's son was able to score consistently, dribble better, create his own shot, move without the ball. He was on his way to becoming a complete basketball player.

Lori's son went on to be a stand out on his AAU basketball team last summer.

Wouldn't it be amazing if I could help your basketball player earn more playing time.

See you in the Back Court!
Coach White

P.S. While I was on the phone with Lori, her son was watching our basketball videos on Youtube. Lol…

Do you teach complete basketball players or just position players?

Do you teach complete players or just positions?

Is it wise, thoughtful, or productive to prevent a youth basketball player from learning a specific skill set?  For example, only having guard’s practice or big man’s practice.

At the younger levels the kids that can handle the ball take most of the shots. Let me tell you a story. A parent contacted me about her  6’1 & 6’2 guard who has played in the post out of necessity with no guard skills (ball-handling, separation moves).
What was he doing the last 4 years?

If he 6'2 is good enough to play college ball how is he going to be successful in the POST when his competition is  6’7 and 6’8?

Basically he has been playing out of position for 4 years. I believe this is a crime to our kids and that we should not prevent them from learning all skill sets.  I teach my BIGS ball handling and my Guards drop steps & hook shots.
